Low Carb Pumpkin Spice Dutch Baby with Bourbon Brown Butter Chai Apples and Candied Pecans (Keto, Dairy

Why make a bunch of pancakes with you can make one big one instead? This big fluffy pancake is the be all end all Dutch Baby with soft bourbon brown butter chai apples and candied pecans, it makes for a perfect big breakfast that just melts in your mouth. Its perfect to serve a crowd or to wow your family on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Not only does this dish make a great breakfast, but also a delicious desert with a scoop of ice cream.

PLEASE use the gram measurements and the products that we linked to for BEST results. I tested many and they don’t all work the same.

Pumpkin Spice Dutch Baby:

1 1/4 Cup Lupin Flour ( grams)

1/4 Cup Oat Fiber (20 grams)

1 tsp Baking Powder

1/2 tsp Himalayan Salt

5 Large Eggs

1/4 Cup Mild Flavored Oil, vegetable oil, Coconut oil

1 Cup Water (110 grams)

1/3 Cup Pumpkin Puree

1/2 Cup Granulated Keto Sugar

1/2 Tsp Liquid Stevia

1-2 Tsp To Taste of Pumpkin Spice

Brown Butter Chai Apples:

Half Stick of Salted Butter

3 Tbsp Bourbon

2 Tbsp Sukrin Gold Brown Sugar

2 Granny Smith Apples, Peeled and Chopped

1/4 Tsp Cardamon

1/4 Tsp Cinnamon

!/8 Tsp Ginger

1/4 Tsp Black Pepper

1/8 Tsp Allspice

Candied Pecans:

Yield: 2 Cups

1 Cup Raw Pecans (Whole or Chopped)

1 Tsp Pumpkin Spice

4 Tbsp Butter or Butter flavored Coconut Oil

1/4 Cup Sukrin Gold Brown Sugar

2 Tsp Vanilla

1/4 Tsp Himalayan Salt

Pumpkin Spice Dutch Baby with Brown Butter Chai Apples:

Preheat the oven to 425 .In a blender, combine all of the dutch baby batter ingredients and blend on high until completely smooth. for 30-60 seconds . Using a medium sized oiled cast iron skillet into the oven for 5 minutes before pouring the batter in. Bake for 20 minutes. While the Dutch baby is baking begin melting the butter in a medium sauce pan on medium heat. Once the butter begins to darken add the diced apples, Sukrin Gold,and bourbon. occasionally stir to avoid burning. After the apple begin to soften add in the cardamon, black pepper, ground ginger, and allspice, allow this to simmer for 5 minutes.

Candied Pecans:

Combine all of the ingredients in to a medium skillet on medium heat. Caramelize the pecans and sauce for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens. Make sure to occasionally stir to avoid burning. Once the pecans are caramelized, place on to parchment paper and place in the freezer or fridge for and 1 hour to cool.
