Nut Free Thai Peanut

Preheat oven to 425 degrees and line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.  In a large bowl combine ¼ cup sesame oil, 1 tsp sea salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder and ¼ tsp red pepper flakes.  Toss 2 lbs chicken wings, two at a time, in the oil/spice mixture to coat both sides.  Place wings on the wire rack in the prepared baking sheet and place in oven for 15 minutes.  While the wings are cooking prepare the sauce by combining 3 tbsp sunbutter, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp lime juice and 1 tbsp coconut aminos in another large bowl.  When the wings are done, toss them in the prepared sauce and return to the wire rack and into the oven for an additional 15 minutes.  If there is any sauce remaining it can be used to top the wings before serving or as a dip and garnish with optional chopped green onion. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees and line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.  In a large bowl combine ¼ cup sesame oil, 1 tsp sea salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder and ¼ tsp red pepper flakes.  Toss 2 lbs chicken wings, two at a time, in the oil/spice mixture to coat both sides.  Place wings on the wire rack in the prepared baking sheet and place in oven for 15 minutes.  While the wings are cooking prepare the sauce by combining ½ cup molasses, 1 tbsp sriracha, 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar, 1 tbsp coconut aminos, 1 tbsp coconut sugar and 1 tbsp tapioca/potato/arrowroot starch in a small sauce pot over medium heat until it thickens, about 3 minutes.  Transfer the sauce into a large heat resistant bowl.  When the wings are done, toss them in the prepared sauce and return to the wire rack and into the oven for an additional 15 minutes.  If there is any sauce remaining it can be used to top the wings before serving or as a dip.  Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
