Paleo Pork Chops with Maple Ginger Glazed Pears and Pecans! (gluten,grain,egg,dairy free & paleo)

One pot simple meals are the BEST. Its how we eat most of the time- as much as I love creating fancy recipes the truth is we rarely make them outside of special occasions.

Dishes like this we live on. This meal has all the flavors of fall come together in less than 15 minutes. And…most importantly its SO good!

Ingredients

·      2 tbsp butter or coconut oil

·      1 lb thick cut, boneless pork chops

·      ½ tsp sea salt

·      ½ tsp black pepper

·      1/3 cup pure maple syrup

·      1 tbsp fresh grated ginger

·      1 tsp ground cinnamon

·      ½ tsp sea salt

·      3 pears, sliced thin

Instructions

1.    In a large skillet melt the butter/coconut oil over medium high heat. Season both sides of the chops with the salt and pepper and add to the heated skillet. Seer on the first side for 7 minutes, flip and sear for an additional 7 minutes.

2.    Once both sides have seared whisk the maple syrup, ginger, cinnamon and salt into the skillet. Add the pears and allow the glaze to come to a bubble. Continue to cook for an additional 10 minutes or until pears have softened and temp of the chops reads 160 degrees.
